The Bremerton Symphony Association will have its fall-season shredding fundraiser Oct. 19. It is jointly sponsored by Peninsula All-Shred.

For $1 a pound, Symphony supporters can shred sensitive documents securely and safely from 9 a.m  to 1 p.m. on Saturday in the front lot of Albertson’s on Wheaton Way.

Symphony board members will be on hand to accept tax returns and documentation, banking records, statements and bills, and other sensitive documents at this convenient, drive-through location.

All-Shred’s state-of-the-art equipment will shred all materials on-site, while you watch. Proceeds of the event will benefit the Bremerton Symphony’s concert and education programs.

For more information, call the Symphony Office at 360-373-1722. The office is at 532 Fifth St., Suite 16, Bremerton.

The Bremerton Symphony Association is in its 71st year of bringing classical music home to the Kitsap Peninsula. Its orchestra, concert chorale, youth symphony and music education programs are funded through area business sponsorships, private donations, ticket sales and special fund-raisers.
