Sheriff’s Office looking for missing Silverdale man

SILVERDALE — Kitsap County Sheriff's Office investigators are seeking assistance from anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of an 89-year-old Silverdale man who is missing under suspicious circumstances.

SILVERDALE — Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking assistance from anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of an 89-year-old Silverdale man who is missing under suspicious circumstances.

Robert Archie Hood, who resides in the Tracyton Boulevard area of Silverdale, was last seen by his caretaker during the afternoon of Dec. 16 at his residence. Hood does not drive, and his caretaker is the only person who provides assistance in order to allow him to conduct personal business.

Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a possible robbery in connection with Hood’s disappearance and believe that he may be a victim of violence.

Investigators also are looking for a vehicle of interest in this investigation, a dark green 1994 Honda Accord four-door, with Oregon license 105-DCB.
