Suquamish Rolling Reader program seeking tutors

The Suquamish Rolling Reader program, which pays middle and high school students to help elementary students who are reading at one grade level or more below their academic grade level, is looking for tutors. Tutors must pass a background check, be at least 14 years old, have a grade point average of 2.5 or better, be fluent in English and able to provide their own transportation to and from the Suquamish campus. Tutors earn $10 per hour, which is put into an interest bearing account that can be accessed up to three years after high school graduation and upon proof of enrollment into college. For more information, or to become a tutor, email Terri Day at tday@nkschools.org.
