The Port Orchard Rotary raised over $155,000 at its 47th annual Crab Feed and Auction.

The money includes $24,500 raised in the Fund the Item campaign that supports South Kitsap Little League.

The auction generates funds that are returned to the community in Rotary’s “Service Above Self” motto, including to Port Orchard Cares, which serves 160 kids with presents and meals for families at Christmas.

In addition, Port Orchard Rotary funds $40,000 of annual scholarships to South Kitsap High School students.

Auction chair Leslie Taylor Reynolds said: “This was one of our most successful Crab Feed and Auctions in many, many years. Local business sponsors, our donors and the community all came together to cap a great night for the Port Orchard community.”
