Rider Alert: M/V Finest out of service for repairs

Kitsap Transit’s fast ferry Melissa Ann will be operating the Kingston/Seattle route this afternoon, replacing M/V Finest as it is taken out of service to undergo repairs.

Melissa Ann is only capable of carrying 172 passengers per crossing, whereas the finest can carry 250 passengers. Officials with Kitsap Transit said an update would be issued when the Finest is returned to service.
