Public hearings held next month to review long-term plan for ferry system

Public hearings are scheduled in January at ferry communities all over Puget Sound, including Kingston.

· Jan. 5, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Port Townsend/Keystone route, Pope Marine Building, 100 Madison Street, Port Townsend.

· Jan. 6, 6-8 p.m., Clinton/Mukilteo route, Useless Bay Golf Club, 5725 South Country Club Drive, Langley.

· Jan. 7, 6-8 p.m., Vashon Island route, McMurray Middle School, 9329 SW Cemetery Road, Vashon Island.

· Jan. 8, 6-8 p.m., Bremerton/Seattle route, Kitsap Conference Center, Harborside, 100 Washington Avenue, Bremerton.

· Jan. 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Southworth route, South Colby Elementary, 3281 Banner Road SE, Port Orchard.

· Jan. 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Bainbridge Island/Seattle route, Commons, 402 Brien Drive, Bainbridge Island.

· Jan. 14, 6-8 p.m., Kingston/Edmonds route, Kingston Cove Yacht Club 25915 Washington Boulevard, Kingston.

· Jan. 15, 11:40 a.m.-2:40 p.m., aboard San Juan Inter-Island ferry.
