Thompson will return to court for an omnibus hearing on May 1. A tentative trial date has been set for June 9.

Thompson attended a birthday party for Sloan in February and spent the night at his home after the festivities. A 44-year-old woman also spent the night, but in another room.

Thompson is accused of raping the woman, who fled to Sloan’s bedroom after the alleged incident. She was taken to the hospital by Sloan’s girlfriend, while Sloan called 911.
