POULSBO — Roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty with the Friends of the Poulsbo Cemetery, and some good old fashioned volunteerism during a cemetery cleanup scheduled for Saturday, May 5.

Sign-in starts at 9:30 a.m. with the cleanup commencing at 10 a.m. and running until noon. Gravestones may be cleaned by friends, family and veterans groups.

Dress for the weather and wear shoes appropriate for working outdoors. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a water bottle, weeding tools, pruning shears, wheelbarrows, rakes, brooms and knee cushions but some tools will be provided by organizers.

The Poulsbo Cemetery is located at 20002 Caldart Avenue NE.
