Beginning about 11:30, the Navy Band Northwest 18-piece show band will perform music from the Big Band era, as well as popular contemporary songs and patriotic numbers.

Next, The Hometown Band will play numbers reminiscent of the era when local bands would play in bandstands at community parks.

Finally, Rural Delivery, a contemporary bluegrass quintet, will play acoustic music with rich vocal harmonies, instrumental expertise and energetic presence. This group includes Roger Ferguson, the 1979-80 national guitar flat-picking champion, on fiddle; Terrence Enyeart on mandolin and vocals; Steve Thomas on guitar and vocals; Dale Williams on banjo; and Deborah Enyeart on bass.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a picnic in the park. You can opt to bring your own basket, or purchase a meal and ice cream inside the Community Center.  For more information, call Marco Tyler, (360( 638-0221.
