Construction crews have been busy lately upgrading and repairing Central Kitsap schools. Here’s a photo gallery showing some of the work that has been done:

Silverdale Elementary

Silverdale Elementary modernization work. Kassel and Associates are doing the work.

Housings for mechanical units on the roof of Silverdale Elementary will be removed. When the modernization project is complete, the mechanical units will be exposed.

Turf replacement and track repair project at Silverdale Stadium. The work was done by Hellas Construction.

Ridgetop Junior High

Upgraded fire alarm at Ridgetop Middle School. The new alarm can verbally give directions when there is a problem instead of just beeping. Seismic repairs were also made at the school. TEC Construction did the work.

Cougar Valley Elementary / Green Mountain Elementary

New roof on a portable classroom at Cougar Valley Elementary. Caulking and HVAC work was also done. The work was done by D.P. Wain Construction.

Hawk Elementary at Jackson Park

Ballfield at Hawk Elementary at Jackson Park. Aldrich and Associates are doing the work.

Rain garden at Hawk Elementary at Jackson Park. The rain garden helps improve water quality in Kitsap water by trapping pollutants from paved areas.
