Paula Crockett died Feb. 14. She was 93. Worked for Pacific Bell Telephone for 30 years. Avid golfer and sports fan; season pass holder for the Oakland A’s and Raiders.

POULSBO — Paula Crockett died Feb. 14. She was 93.

Born Oct 13, 1919 in Putignano (Bari), Italy. Immigrated to Oakland, Calif., with her parents, Rose and Domin-ico Fanelli. Married William Crockett Sr., had three children: Claudia Coyle, Lilly Ransdell and Bill Crockett.

Worked for Pacific Bell Telephone for 30 years. Avid golfer and sports fan; season pass holder for the Oakland A’s and Raiders.

Moved to Bremerton in 1999 to be closer to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Known to her friends as the life of the party. Loved participating in activities at the Willows and enjoyed family get-togethers. Loved to dance, never left home without her sequined sunvisor.

When she died, “She was in fashion as always, wearing her red pajamas and was covered with a blanket of hearts,” her family wrote. “God received a beautiful Valentine that day.”

There will be a private celebration of life with her family.
