BREMERTON — Olympic College will host the fourth annual Science, Engineering and Mathematics Information Night on Tuesday. This free informational session is for high school students and all those considering careers involving Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
This event will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Science and Technology building lobby on OC’s Bremerton campus.
Washington State University has a mechanical engineering program on OC’s Bremerton campus with local faculty for students who have earned an associate of science degree. Information will be provided by Dr. Marvin Pitts, program coordinator.
Tutoring, scholarships and mentoring for under-represented students are offered by the Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement program at OC. Dr. Jodi Carson, MESA program director, will be available to answer questions.
