Earl Abrahamson died Aug. 7 at McKenzie Willamette Hospital in Springfield, Ore. He was 83.

Earl Kenneth Dwayne Abrahamson, 83

Earl Abrahamson died Aug. 7 at McKenzie Willamette Hospital in Springfield, Ore. He was 83.

He was born Dec. 29, 1924 in Terry, Mont.

Abrahamson enjoyed several outdoor activities and hobbies. He spent many years in Dechutes County as a camp host with his best buddy of 16 years — a Boston terrier named Duffy. He spent a lot of years hunting, fishing and camping with his family and was a huge sports fan watching the Oregon Ducks and Atlanta Braves.

He is preceeded in death by six sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Esther, and four children, Douglas (Carla) Abrahamson, of Florence, Ore., Janice (Roger) Erickson of Yakima, Mark Abrahamson of Springfield, Ore. and Teri Lewis of Vancouver; brothers Vernon Abrahamson of Bremerton and Bernard (Bing) of Anaheim, Calif.

Greg Brian Richardson, 45

Greg Brian Richardson died Aug. 16 at Harrison Medical Center with his parents at his side.

Richardson was born to Harold and Ardys Richardson on Oct. 11, 1962, at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines.

He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1981 and completed a course in TV Production at Bates Vocational School before working for KIRO-TV for more than 24 years. He married Melisa McCord Feb. 9, 1986. They recently divorced.

Richardson was especially proud of his two daughters Amber and Hanna of Auburn.

He enjoyed watching football and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his parents; his daughters; maternal grandmother, Helen Strand of Poulsbo; aunts, uncles and cousins, Greta Johnson and Carol Daniels of Poulsbo, Connie Feikes of Bainbridge Island, Gail Strand of Silverdale and Dean Richardson of Clarkston, Idaho.

A memorial service will be held at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Poulsbo Fire Department’s Ambulance Fund.
