NK murder suspect arrested; other still at-large

One of two men wanted in a North Kitsap homicide is in custody as Aksel Strom was arrested Oct. 27 in Pacific County.

Sheriff’s deputies there pursued Strom twice, losing him once, then spiking the tires on his vehicle after spotting him a second time, a Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office news release states. He is now in the Kitsap jail.

Strom is suspected along with Caleb Sloan in the Oct. 3 killing of Brandon L. Egeler in the 3100 block of Lincoln Road NE near Poulsbo. Felony arrest warrants for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary were issued for both men.

Anyone with information about the location of Sloan is asked to call 911. Tips can also be received via email at kcsotips@kitsap.gov.
