NK Band Boosters host Medieval Feast and Frolic

The North Kitsap High Band Boosters will host a spring Medieval Feast and Frolic April 9 and 10 at the high school commons.

Doors open at 6 p.m. April 9 and 5:30 p.m. April 10. The event includes dinner and live entertainment from the North Kitsap High band.

High schools host ‘United We Dance’

North Kitsap and Kingston high schools will host “United We Dance,” a joint fundraiser for the two schools’ Grad Night events, Saturday April 17 at the Poulsbo Eagles Hall.

The dinner, dance and auction features local band “Never Been to Utah.” Tickets are $20 per person or $120 for a table of eight people. Tickets are available at Kingston Fitness, Liberty Bay Books in Poulsbo and Windermere Realty in Poulsbo. Organizers are still seeking donations of silent auction items and need volunteers for decorating, food service and running the auction.

Know a great teacher?

The North Kitsap Teacher of the Year Foundation is seeking nominations for its 2009-10 teachers of the year. The foundation recognizes two teachers every year — one at the elementary and middle school level and one at the high school level.

Teachers must work at a public or accredited private school within the boundaries of the North Kitsap School District.
