GIG HARBOR — Crews will close up to two eastbound lanes on State Route 16 the night of June 30 to change toll rates on signs approaching the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Crews will close lanes in two locations on eastbound SR 16 beginning at 7 p.m. The two right lanes will be closed about a half mile before the bridge. All traffic will be routed into the HOV lane. The right lane will be closed at the overhanging sign just past the toll plaza.

All lanes will reopen by 11:59 p.m. on June 30.

As of July 1, toll rates for two-axle vehicles are $4.50 with a Good To Go! pass, $5.50 cash, and $6.50 Pay By Mail.
