Chef Somsri Suwanvichit Knight, of Nattamit Thai Restaurant, was the winner of The Delicious Bite of Silverdale 2011, according to a release from the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce.

The Nov. 1 event included local restaurants that participated in providing hors d’oeuvres ranging in price from $1 to $5. Knight, also known as Chef Su, served up vegetarian jet rolls, pineapple fried rice, red curry chicken with bamboo shoot, thai scampi and garlic prawns.

Other participants in the event included Hale’s Alehouse, Yacht Club Broiler, Aloha Kitchen, Herban Gardens Cafe, Spiro’s Pizza and Pasta, Silver City Restaurant and Brewery, Aladdin’s Palace, Kings Wok Buffet, Hakata Japanese Restaurant, Old Town Bistro, Monica’s Waterfront Bakery, Origami Sushi and Asian Cuisine and Fujiyama Japanese Steak House.
