Move your clocks forward one hour on Sunday

Daylight Saving Time means spring is close at hand.

KITSAP COUNTY — Our clocks are set to move forward one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 11.

The good news is that the time shift mandated by the national Daylight Saving Time standard signals to rain-weary, gloom-laden Kitsap County residents that springtime is just days away. The bad news is you get one less hour to slumber this Sunday morning.

At 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 11, clocks will move forward one hour to 3 a.m. That will set the stage for a brighter morning wakeup as you head out the door for work. And that’s always good news for commuters who up until now have been battling rain showers, road detours and dark skies as they hit the roadways.
