SILVERDALE — A vulnerable adult who was reported missing Aug. 11 was found quickly after the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office posted information about her on Tuesday afternoon to request the help of the public.

Tiffany Nicole Rose Thomas, 32, of Silverdale, had been last seen Aug. 10 in Poulsbo by her health care provider. She was reported missing the next day by her roommate.

At approximately 2:20 p.m. Tuesday, the sheriff’s office posted her photo and basic information about her on social media in order to find her. It turned out Thomas had gone camping with another person. Once she was able to get service on her cellphone, she saw text messages and posts about her, and was able to make contact with sheriff’s detectives by about 4 p.m.
