Man arrested for suspected kidnapping of CK woman

A 21-year-old man was arrested Jan. 19 for allegedly kidnapping a 21-year-old Central Kitsap woman, a dependent adult who is on the autism spectrum and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, per the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect, Leroy Franklin Nickols, who is a registered sex offender with a 2022 conviction of second-degree rape, was arrested by Olympia police, transported to Kitsap County Jail, and is facing a charge of second-degree kidnapping, KCSO says. 21-year-old Hannah Marie Davis has since been reunited with family.

Nickols allegedly lured Davis away from her residence after communicating with her online. She had been last seen Jan. 17 at 11 p.m. near the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, per KCSO.
