Local student becomes National Society Scholar

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS)announced Olympic High School student Ashlin Hansen was selected to become a member. NSHSS recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership among other requirements.

“On behalf of  NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice, and commitment that Ashlin has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” stated Claes Nobel, a senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.

Her parents are Valerie and Lowell Hansen of Bremerton.
