Let’s see what the survey says

In today’s North Kitsap Herald, you have a very unique opportunity to have your voice heard. Often, this space has urged you to speak your mind in various venues, whether it be by voting or by attending public meetings.

But today, we’re asking you to make your mark by filling out our very own Pulse Survey. A survey is inside today’s issue, and will also be available on our Web page on April 19.

All Sound Publishing newspapers undertake Pulse Surveys. They are an important learning tool among many that we use to learn about the communities we serve.

We already know a great deal about our readers from the time we spend in the field, letters to the editor, our editorial board and, yes, even the occasional correction.

The Pulse Survey compliments that. It tells us everything from what you think of our job as an editorial staff to the kinds of advertising you’d like to see in our paper.

We use this information to gain a complete picture of who our readers are — what their tastes are, what they want from us and what we can do better, in editorial and advertising.

But please understand, we don’t use this information to harass you. Your personal information will not be shared with any other company, or even by us, to solicit anything from you.

The only thing we use that information for is to hand out prizes. Everyone who takes the time to complete a survey is entered into a drawing for a night’s stay at Poulsbo Inn and Suites or a $1,000 grand prize. That’s just our way of saying thank you for making your voice heard.

We promise, we’re listening.
