Kitsap County incumbent commissioners lead, Derek Kilmer ahead | Election Results

As the presidential results roll in and CNN projects President Barak Obama will be reelected, Kitsap County appears to be sending the two incumbent commissioners back to their seats.

As the presidential results roll in and CNN projects President Barack Obama will be reelected, Kitsap County appears to be sending the two incumbent commissioners back to their seats.

In District No. 1 Robert Gelder is leading challenger Chris Tibbs 55.19 percent to 44.60 percent in the first round of returns.

District No. 2 Charlotte Garrido, the incumbent, leads Linda Simpson 52.49 to 47.26 percent.

In 2nd Congressional District Democrat Derek Kilmer lead Bill Driscoll 52.52 to 42.28 percent.

In the governor’s race Democrat Jay Inslee is leading Rob McKenna 51 percent to 48 percent.

For attorney general, Bob Ferguson leads Reagan Dunn 53-47 percent.

The measure to legalize marijuana is passing as is the same-sex marriage and charter school measures
