State Sen. Derek Kilmer, D-Gig Harbor, will host a telephone town hall Thursday evening to discuss the current legislative session with his 26th District constituents.
In a news release, Kilmer said the forum will provide “an opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion of the state budget, education, tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, government reform, the state’s business climate, veterans’ issues and other topics of interest.”
The telephone town hall will start at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, and 26th District residents who would like to take part should call Kilmer’s office at (360) 786-7650 by noon Wednesday to register their phone number. They will receive a call at the start time to connect them to the forum, and they will be able to ask questions or just listen to the discussion.
