BREMERTON — KeyBank has boosted customer access to surcharge-free ATMs through an agreement with Cardtronics, the world’s largest retail ATM owner and operator.
As a result of the partnership, KeyBank clients can use ATMs at Walgreens stores in Washington and Oregon without paying a surcharge.
In Bremerton, there are new ATMs at the Walgreens at 3333 Wheaton Way; 6432 SR 303 NE; and 3929 Kitsap Way.
“We are excited to offer our clients even more access to surcharge-free ATMs,” said John Roehm, retail sales executive for KeyBank’s Washington region.
KeyBank’s partnership with Cardtronics increases surcharge-free ATM access in Washington by nearly 65 percent and nearly doubles the number of ATMs in Oregon and southwest Washington that KeyBank clients can use without paying a surcharge fee.
KeyBank currently offers clients surcharge-free access at nearly 2,000 ATMs across the country. KeyBank has 1,254 ATMs. The bank also offers surcharge-free access at ATMs through a similar agreement with Cardtronics in Rite-Aid stores in New York and at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
All KeyBank ATMs, including surcharge-free ATMS available to KeyBank customers, can be found using the Branch and ATM locator available at the bank’s website.
“We know our clients want to bank at their convenience,” said Brian Marlow, market president for South Puget Sound. “Providing expanded access to surcharge-free ATMs is one more way we make it easy to bank with Key.”
KeyBank will continue to work with Cardtronics and other third party ATM managers on opportunities to further expand the ATM network.
