POULSBO — Kenneth (Pete) Aitchison passed away July 20. He was 60.

Kenneth was born to Eugene and Mary (Wynne) Aitchison of Suquamish on March 4, 1952. He attended school in the North Kitsap School District, graduating in 1971. He spent 12 years in the Army, where he met and married Mary Celesta Casali. After leaving the service, he worked for a number of companies as an HR manager.

He is survived by his  wife, Mary; daughter, Jennifer, of Seattle; mother, Mary Aitchison, of Viking Park, Poulsbo; sister, Ruthellen (Penny) Martinez, of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers, Larry of Salida, Calif., Terry of Seattle, Kevin of Vicenza, Italy, Robert of Kingston, John of Suquamish; uncle and aunt, Mike and Gaile Wynne of Silverdale; 23 nieces and nephews; and 48 grandnieces and grandnephews.

At his request, there will be no formal service. Instead, there will be a friends and family picnic on Aug. 5, 1 p.m., at Gene Coulon Memorial Park, 1201 Lake Washington Blvd. North, Renton.
