POULSBO — There’s still time to get to know the issues and candidates in the Nov. 4 general election.
Ballots will be mailed by Oct. 17, according to the Kitsap County Auditor Elections Division. Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4, or deposited into a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. Nov. 4.

— Oct. 10: Senior issues forum — “How Will Candidates Surf the Age Wave?,” 1-3 p.m., Silverdale Community Center Evergreen Room, 9729 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale. Legislative candidates forum dedicated to aging-policy issues and Washington’s readiness to meet the needs of the growing numbers of seniors in Washington state.
