The Port Orchard Eagles 2338 is hosting a Country Hoe Down and Chili Cook-off at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Port Orchard Eagles Hall.

An entry fee of $10 is required for chili cook-off participants, with judges Tim Matthes, Jan Angel and local military personnel evaluating the chili.

At 8 p.m. the Renegade Train Band of Port Orchard will take the stage.

Cost of the event for attendees is $5 and includes hamburgers, hot dogs and potato salad.
