Fundraiser Oct. 19 for Eagles Aerie president

The North Kitsap Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3586 will host a benefit on Oct. 19 for the family of its president, Louie Sorensen, who has stage 4 cancer.

POULSBO — The North Kitsap Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 3586 will host a benefit on Oct. 19 for the family of its president, Louie Sorensen, who has stage 4 cancer.

The benefit is open to the public and will start at noon with the band “Half Hitched,” followed by the band “Planted,” comedy by Trish Guinn, then an open jam session, wrapped up by the band “Coldnote.”

Price is $10 at the door for all day, with a spaghetti feed for dinner and silent auctions.

The Eagles issued this invitation to the community: “Please put the 19th of October on your calendars and come and join us for an afternoon of good music [and] good friends, and help provide assistance for our worthy president and his family in their time of need.”
