Five injured in single-car rollover crash on Clear Creek Road

One 19-year-old male was found at the scene ejected from the vehicle and unconscious. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center’s trauma unit, in critical condition. Two males were trapped under the vehicle. One of them, an 18-year-old male, was extricated and taken to Tacoma General in critical condition. The other, a 19-year-old male, was extricated and taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton with serious injuries.

POULSBO – Five young adults were injured late Saturday when their car crashed on Clear Creek Road south of Sherman Hill late Saturday.

The car was a Nissan four-door sedan, Poulsbo Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Matson reported. Poulsbo Fire Department, North Kitsap Fire and Rescue, Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue, Navy Region Northwest and the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office went to the scene at about 10 p.m.

The driver, an 18-year-old male, and an 18-year-old female passenger, were taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton with minor injuries.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash and will release more information when next-of-kin has been notified.

Update: According to Harborview Medical Center, the 19-year-old Silverdale man who was ejected from the vehicle has been upgraded from critical to serious condition, the Poulsbo Fire Department reported on Facebook Sunday morning.
