POINT NO POINT — Fishermen rescued five teens who ended up in the water after the raft they made broke apart.

Brad Camp of Olympic Photo Group happened to be at the scene doing a photo shoot and photographed the rescue. He posted a photo and a report on North Kitsap Fire & Rescue’s Facebook page.

We were on a family photo shoot when commotion broke out at Point-No-Point as 5 teens started getting pulled out deep waters in Puget Sound after their makeshift log raft broke apart,” Camp wrote. “Thankfully, 2 fishermen dumped off their waders, grabbed a floating log and started to rescue the teens. They got lucky today–the point is has dangerous sweeping currents. The fishermen rescued all 5 teens as fire crews arrived.”
