BREMERTON — An RV on Wycoff Avenue was ruined by a fire today around 4:30 p.m.

The RV was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene and smoke could be seen from Silverdale.

Josie Laudet lives directly across the street from the property. She was about to water her plants when a neighbor warned her of the fire. She was worried it could spread to her home.

“It scared me to death,” Laudet said.

No one was harmed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The RV was located on the controversial Native-owned trust land and is not subject to city fire codes.
