BREMERTON — Washington State Ferries and the ferry advisory committee will host a public meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 in the Council Chambers of the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th St.

Topics of discussion will include the current state of the WSF long-range plan; the status of the ferry MV Chimacum, currently under construction and planned to enter service in early 2017; and an introduction to members of the Bremerton ferry advisory committee and WSF community outreach staff.

The proposed Kitsap Transit passenger-only ferry service will not be discussed. Inquiries should be directed to Kitsap Transit, which recently launched a new passenger-only ferry website, kitsapferries.com.
