Everett woman injured in single-car crash on 307

A 20-year-old Everett woman was injured in a solo car crash on State Route 307 near Sawdust Hill Road, three miles northeast of Poulsbo, Sept. 6.

POULSBO –A 20-year-old Everett woman was injured in a solo car crash on State Route 307 near Sawdust Hill Road, three miles northeast of Poulsbo, Sept. 6.

Washington State Patrol reported that Courtany R. Brown was transported by an aid unit to Harrison Medical Center. Her car, a newer-model Chevy Malibu four-door, was totaled and impounded by Kitsap Towing.

The crash occurred at 9:50 p.m. According to Washington State Patrol, Brown was driving north on 307 when her car crossed the centerline and left the roadway. The car struck the embankment, rolled, and came to rest in the southbound ditch, on the driver’s side, facing south.

The cause of the crash, according to state patrol: Wheels off the roadway. The driver was cited for failure to stay right of the center lane.
