Driver puts a dent in new McDonalds

At about 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 a driver put a bit of a dent in the brand new McDonald’s on Viking Way.

According to Poulsbo Police Chief Dan Schoonmaker, the driver was pulling into the handicap parking space in front of the building when he accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and popped over the curb and into the building.

Poulsbo Police made contact with the driver and took his information, according to Schoonmaker the man’s information was all valid.

The brand new building sustained some minor damage, officers taped off the area and made contact with the branch manager so the parties could exchange the necessary information.
