SILVERDALE — Construction on the Silverdale Way road improvement project, from NW Byron Street to NW Anderson Hill Road, is scheduled to begin in 2017 or 2018.
And the county wants your input.
According to the county, this project is the second phase of a project focused on “capacity and safety improvements” for the corridor from State Route 3 to NW Anderson Hill Road.
According to the county, widening the intersection at Byron Street to five lanes would reduce northbound backups. This project will include traffic signal improvements, sidewalk, curb and gutter with landscape strips, and “channelization south of Byron Street and associated drainage improvements.”
The county is seeking public input on some of the design features. The public can help select:
nA theme for the retaining wall to be located on the west side of the roadway between NW Byron Street and NW Lowell Street.
nThe type of landscaping for the roadway planter strips included throughout the project.
nA logo for the project.
