Constitutional studies director is guest speaker at North Kitsap Republican Women’s meeting April 19

Trent England, director of constitutional studies at the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, will be the guest speaker at the North Kitsap Republican Women's meeting April 19, 11:30 a.m., at the Poulsbo Fire Station on Liberty Avenue and Highway 305 in Poulsbo.

Trent England, director of constitutional studies at the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, will be the guest speaker at the North Kitsap Republican Women’s meeting April 19, 11:30 a.m., at the Poulsbo Fire Station on Liberty Avenue and Highway 305 in Poulsbo.

England is former director of the foundation’s Citizen Action Network and Citizenship & Governance Center. He earlier served as a legal policy analyst and visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation, where he was a contributor to “The Heritage Guide to the Constitution.” He has also been a candidate for state representative, the vice president of a small issues lobbying organization, and an opposition researcher at a national campaign committee.

England earned a law degree from The George Mason University School of Law and a bachelor of arts in government from Claremont McKenna College.
