Community meeting set for sex offender

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office sent out a notification that a sex offender will be residing in Port Orchard.

A community meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. March 16, in the Cascade Room at the Givens Community Center, 1026 Sidney Ave.

Donald M. Schultz, 69, is set to reside in the 1000 block of Arnold Avenue East, according to KCSO.

He is described as an 185-pound, 5-foot-11 white male with gray hair and brown eyes.

Court documents stated that in 2012, Schultz was convicted of indecent liberties when she sexually abused an 8-year-old girl that he knew. In 1992, he was arrested in Hawaii twice of sex offenses of two 6-year-old females. He has also be convicted of drug charges and burglary. Schultz has not participated in sex offender treated while in prison due to time constraints.
