Collision sends two to hospital

Two men were transported to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton after their cars collided head on at Highway 307 and Minder Road.

POULSBO — Two men were transported to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton after their cars collided head on at Highway 307 and Minder Road.

A 24-year-old Port Angeles man was driving southbound on Highway 307 when his car, a 2015 Kia, crossed the center line.

The Port Angeles man’s  car struck another head on, a 2000 Lexus driven by a 36-year-old Hansville man.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and were injured in the accident.

No drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident, according to a report from the Washington State Patrol.

Washington State Patrol did send a report to the county prosecutor with charges for the Port Angeles man; driving over the center line and driving with a suspended license.

Highway 307 was blocked for approximately 90 minutes as a result of the accident.
