The Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue District board of directors will meet at 4 p.m. Monday for a work study session at which they will hear an update about volunteer services in the fire district.

The meeting is in the conference room at the administrative building at 5300 Newberry Hill Road, Silverdale.

Also on the agenda for discussion are reports on district ground water run off, the county retention pond, financial guidelines for commissioners, the public comment process and the process for the fire chief’s evaluation.

An executive session is anticipated for discussion of the contract negotiations with the fire fighters union.
