City legal services topic of council’s work study session

The Port Orchard City Council is set to conduct a work study session on Sept. 16 at City Hall, 216 Prospect St.

Less than a week after Mayor Tim Matthes asked for Greg Jacoby to resign as city attorney, the mayor has placed an update on the city legal services on the agenda for the Sept. 16 work study session at City Hall, 216 Prospect St.

Jacoby gave his resignation on Sept. 11. He has been city attorney since 2008.

Other topic slated for the agenda is presentation and discussion of:

• Lodging Tax Committee recommendations

• Mixed-use zone changes

• Park rules
