The Port Orchard City Council approved a host of items on the consent portion of the agenda during the Aug. 26 meeting.

The council approved the following:

• Contract with South Kitsap School District for a school resource officer.

• Contact with Pivetta Brothers Construction for roadside ditch restoration of State Route 166 from the city limits to Port Orchard Boulevard for $110,086 .

• Contract with NW Cascade, Inc., for storm drainage catch basin and pipe maintenance for $31,051.

• Contract with Caseco Associates, Inc., for annual stormwater pond maintenance for $23,696.

• Contract with Paladin Data Systems for the purchase if SMARTGov Permitting Software.

• Resolution declaring personal property as surplus and disposition of city vehicles.
