VINLAND — A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Vinland Elementary School teacher Richard Ham at 2 p.m. Nov. 22, at Vinland Elementary. The celebration is open to the public.

The school district issued this statement on Nov. 9: “Mr. Ham passed away on Saturday, October 24th, 2015. He was a beloved teacher in the North Kitsap School District for 26 years, and dedicated 37 years of his life to teaching elementary school students, inspiring confidence and a love of reading.”

Vinland Elementary is located at 22104 Rhododendron Lane NW, Poulsbo.
