GYMNASTICS: Spring classes are starting at Poulsbo Parks and Recreation the week of April 13 for youth gymnastics and cheerleading for all ages, from 18 months old and up, beginning to experienced gymnasts. BAND BOOSTER FUNDRAISERS: The North Kitsap High Band Boosters are hosting a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 18 at St. Charles Episcopal Church, located on State Route 305 and Forest Rock Road. There also will be a car wash from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

AUTHOR TALK/BOOK SIGNING: The Naval Undersea Museum in Keyport presents an author talk and book signing with Al McLaren at 2 p.m. April 18 in the auditorium. EARTH DAY EVENT: Vinland Lutheran Preschool will host an Earth Day event from 1-3 p.m. April 18 at the school, 2750 NW Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Help The Nature Conservancy monitor Foulweather Bluff preserve during busy summer months and enjoy this special protected landscape. GEOGRAPHICALLY SPEAKING: Pastor Don Jukam of Poulsbo First Lutheran Church will present the first in a series of classes on how the geography and culture of the Holy Land helps us understand the original meaning of many passages of Scripture.
