9-11 OBSERVANCE: VFW Post 2669 in Port Orchard will host a ceremony at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 at Waterfront Park to honor local law enforcement, fire and emergency personnel on the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

VFW FUNDRAISER: VFW Post 2669 in Port Orchard will host a Chili Cook-off and community auction at 3 p.m. on Sept. 13.

SPAGHETTI FEED: VFW Post 2669 in Port Orchard will host a free spaghetti feed at 4 p.m. on Sept. 20 to honor the nation’s first responders. The event will be held at 736 Bay St.
