Bremerton, Silverdale students earn spot on Dean’s lists

Arianna Joy Standley, of Bremerton, in the Hankamer School of Business, and Morgan Effie Hill, of Poulsbo, studying in the College of Arts and Sciences, are among of more than 3,200 Baylor University students were named to the Dean’s Academic Honor Roll for the 2014 fall semester.

Arianna Joy Standley, of Bremerton, in the Hankamer School of Business, and Morgan Effie Hill, of Poulsbo, studying in the College of Arts and Sciences, are among of more than 3,200 Baylor University students were named to the Dean’s Academic Honor Roll for the 2014 fall semester.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.

A private Christian university and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution, Baylor is classified as a research university with “high research activity” by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Eastern Washington University:

Several Bremerton and Silverdale-area students have been named to the Fall 2014 dean’s list at Eastern Washington University. The university is located in Cheney.

Bremerton students on the deans list are: Melanie Murphy, Leandra Cooper, Josephine Holloway, Leah Straub, Isaiah Irish, Erin Daniels and Kristin Duprie.

Silverdale students on the dean’s list are: China Kesterson, Mia Veronica Fonseca, Shelby Blad, Jessica David, Jessica Enebo and Nicole Judge.
