Blood-donor network issues appeal in wake of Oregon college shooting

Bloodworks Northwest reports that Lane Blood Center in Eugene, Oregon has issued an urgent appeal to blood donors to help meet a critical need following the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.

POULSBO — Bloodworks Northwest reports that Lane Blood Center in Eugene, Oregon has issued an urgent appeal to blood donors to help meet a critical need following the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg.

Initial reports are that 10 people are dead and 20 are wounded.
