A 23-year-old Belfair man reported being kidnapped, beaten and robbed in a van early Sunday morning, though no suspects were found.

The man told police that he played pool and drank beer at Kelvin G’s Tropic Blast on Wheaton Way Nov. 27 and left at about 1 a.m., according to Bremerton police reports. When he went to the parking lot, a black man asked him for a cigarette. When he said he didn’t have any, the man and another black man forced him into a gray minivan with two white females in the front seats.

The Belfair man said the men held him down, punched him in the eye and took his cash, debit card and passport. One of the men held a knife to his throat and threatened to cut him if he didn’t give the right PIN number for his debit card at a Silverdale Bank of America.

No suspect information was found and the report was forwarded to detectives.
