Zucchinis race

If you’ve ever wanted to see a zucchini race down a track this event is for you.

The Great Zucchini Race returns to Bainbridge Island after a several-year hiatus. It will take place Oct. 7 at 11:30 p.m. outside of Bainbridge Performing Art’s remodeled building adjacent to Town Square/Farmers Market.

If you’re not sure how to turn the vegetable into a race car there will be a car-building event Oct. 6 from 1-7 p.m. at the BI Kids Discovery Museum with zucchinis provided by Town & Country Markets.
