Classes are four-hour, two-day courses in Port Orchard and Bremerton.

PORT ORCHARD — AARP is once again sponsoring a series of driver safety classes in the South Kitsap area during August.

On Aug. 15-16, the four-hour-a-day course will take place at the Port Orchard Eagles. The club’s phone number for information is 360-895-0305.

Then on Aug. 30-31, The Willows in Bremerton will host the two-day class. The phone number there is 360-479-8522.

Attendance is required during both days to receive a course certificate. Most insurance companies offer a discount for attending the course, organizers said.
